How To Change the Wi-Fi Name

So, you came up with the perfect funny Wi-Fi idea. Now what?

It’s time you edit your network name (also known as Service Set Identifier or SSID).

The first thing you need to know is your router’s IP address. You can easily find it by clicking on the Properties of your connected network. You need the thing listed next to “IPv4 address”.

Now, enter it into your browser, and you’ll gain access to your router’s admin page. Log in and make your way to the Settings page.

Finally, look for your router’s current name (it will be under SSID, Wireless Network Name, or just Router Name). Once you find it, type in your favored funny Wi-Fi name. Don’t forget to save your changes.

And that’s it!
